Assuming the actual C7 performs as well as speculated and looks as nice as some of the artist renderings I've seen...I can't wait. I may still keep my C6 but I wouldn't mind having a C7 parked alongside. It'll be fun to see what finally rolls-off the line.

Safety Car
The questions are do you want to buy the proto type or wait to the bugs are ironed out. I would prefer to wait on this one as it seems as a total different car from the C6.

What I like:
*Aggressive and large front side cove vents.
*Wide rear end
What I don't like:
*The exaggerated C6 lines -- needs more inspiration for a new model.
*The "USS Arizona Memorial" tail light panel shape.
*There is a little too much "1980 Corvette" in the nose/grill openings.

C7?
.....selling 1st born to get it if it is a performance and styling beast, as expected.
Selling (or trading in) the 08' because I have alot of other whips I'd like to have rather than having a couple of Vettes in the garage.

well, it looks really nifty.....I like it. However, by the time it comes out it might be powered by a 225hp combined hybrid peanut oil/canola oil/electric propulsion system. After all, global warming is fast changing the world. Just ask anyone in the upper midwest to New England!

Well if they made it and it really looked like that, GM would be raking in the big bucks for sure. I would get one without a doubt as long as they kept the price reasonable.

Everything to date is nothing more than speculation. As for the first m.y. C7, I'll be waiting a while until all the little gremlins get worked out. It never fails - you buy the first m.y., and you get a boatload of issues. Every model car, happens all the time. Wait a year until the figure out how to actually make the car. That means 2012-2013.
