Aaah Soooo !
The Aaahh Sooo we think of when watching old Godzilla movies, or looking at most "Asian" designed cars. I wonder if the sales that DON'T occur in the USA are an influence on all of todays new car designs - no matter where they are assembled.
Friggin' junk, in my book.

looks even worse than the renderrings. Put a Nissan badge on it already.

Looks a lot like a 4th gen Camaro from the front to me. I guess these speculative artists are running out of ideas?
In the article they said "Our best guess", which is just another way of saying "We really have no clue but we had to write something."

Haters gonna hate, but I saw a GT-R in person and it changed my impression. The GT-R in real life looks much better than the pics on the web, FWIW.
And, how does a Corvette owner diss the GT-R for being a Nissan? It's not like Corvette comes with a Cadillac logo.
Cheers,
JB

I think the Automobile magazine "guess" looks a lot better than the Jalopnik "guess"

Back to the C7, I've long jumped off the gm bandwagon , they do the same crap every time a new model is released.
The only time has it met the expextions was the release of the C5, I bought one immediately .
C6 was a warmed over C5, didn't buy until my Z06 until 2008, and I bought used, the car was fast but lacked the driver to car connection my 01z had, add the fact that I was seeing a number of ls7's blow, without modification, kept me from driving the car like I normally would.
I went to the track with that car twice as opposed to 25 times per summer.
The C7 has been out and about , and as the C6 mules, this looks like the car gm is releasing, we know it's a reskin, but to me looks to much like the caddy(which happens to be made in the same plant)
Gm is government motors now, I didnt anticipate any of the corvette designers to get any real funding to produce this car.
IMO this isn't a bad looking car, just a bad looking corvette
If I ever go back and get a late model corvette it will be a C5 Z, still my favorite late model corvette, the C4 GS would be 2nd.
It's safe to say we will all be dissapointed, this is forth most part the car, looks like a caddy CTS / mated with a camaro, underneath is a carryover C6 Z chassis, not a bad thing, but gm just being cheap, as even that design will be obsolete soon, especially if this is the car for the next 7-8 years.
