Fantastic renders. Well Done.
I'll take the orange as the coupe and white as the performance model.
I can't imagine GM making anything quite so edgy, but they should imho.
P.S. Wise of you to hide the tail lights. The pitchforks around here are sharp.

This thread is useless without butt pics.
A lot of people like the Jalopnik illustration fine... until they get to the butt, and then it's a hoarkfest.
Surely you've heard of a butterface. This apparently-awesome design could be a butterbutt. The world wants to know. (Well, I do.)
So turn around, stick it out...

Haha butt pics are being made as we speak , I am overwhelmed by everyone's response so far
I have been delaying the rear view shots because there were a few issues to fix but I think I have it now, the pressure is on

gm needs to hire you as a concept designer. as others have said the c7 would be a runaway success AND lure in some of the 370z and gtr market with such a modern looking car.
like the rest of you i'm curious what the c7 will be
the c6 was basically a c5.5, just have to wonder if the c7 is a clean slate or another upgrade.

The butt looks good. Conservative, but obviously that's what's needed with this bunch.
But the shot is so low we still can't see the rear glass, or really tell what the car looks like from behind from the point of view of anyone taller than Tom Thumb. From the front 3/4 and side shots it looks like you have a really slick fastback design... so show it off.
The exhaust is cool but seems undersized... or is that just because everything else is so massive?

Butt looks great! How about a nose that evokes a '72. Thatvwould flow perfectly from the side view.
Also, i disagree that this will be a mere evolution. GM is revising the entire robotic layout and equipment. A significant technological change prompted that. My prediction is that the new car will set new industry benchmarks for technology in this price point, especially in the chassis and body. There is enormous racing knowledge here and it will be used to bring an unheard-of level of performance and materials engineering tonthe price segment. Hopefully, the looks will match the capabilities and the reliability will be there as well.

So did you model the car within Cinema4D or just render? MAC or PC?
I'm in Industrial/Product Design and have used Alias for surface modeling. The company I work for uses ProEngineer for part modeling and KeyShot/HyperShot for rendering. KeyShot is ok for people who never had to setup lights, scenes, create their textures, etc... but it will limit some aspects of rendering that are achieved in your images.
Good work!!!
