Actually, it looks like a more modern version of the C3 front end.

I really like the rear quarter window, upper rear fender/quarter panel and rear hatch glass in particular here, I would love to see that on the real car:

GM Really should look at this. This rendering looks like it could be the real deal. The only thing I'm not quite digging is the hood's vents by the windshield. But aside from that, I love the looks of this. I would buy that in a heart beat.

I think those heat extractors would be a good concept, although the execution could be a bit less pronounced. Would save on weight, really, by providing a major cooling assist.

I don't like the 3 side moldings. It looks thrash (not trash, no typo) as opposed to refined.

Look at this Ferrari to compare :

Man, if it looked like that, I would move my schedule up in purchasing a Z06 before I die, assuming this rendition would be a Z06 varient. Captures enough Corvette cues while bringing the design forward WITHOUT retro cues. Great design. All of the other designs had something missing or elements that looked bad, but this design is great. We can only hope the GM designers could get close to this design. Once again, great job!

Looks great and if they had the technology 50 years ago they could have made a car like that. Now the cars have to meet crash standards and it is very doubtful the front and rear could meet the current bumper standards for fender benders let alone what has to be done to pass higher speed crash tests. Once engineered to meet the standards it wouldn't look as sexy. With the car being just 6 months from introduction all of that work was done quite a while ago.

Thanks mate !! I really do appreciate your comments ! it's been overwhelming the response I have received here on the corvette forums your comment explains exactly how I approached this design , I wanted a design that firstly was KICK *** and secondly was unique to all other concepts out there for the C7 and although I like retro style I didn't want to do that with this concept and lastly and most importantly it had to look corvette still which overall was a challenge without making it look too much like this and that,

so thank mate again for you comment, and thanks to everyone else also who took the time to comment in case those of you who have only seen 1 or 2 pics here is a link to all my pics on the net in higher resolution

That is one hot looking Corvette. Modern yet still Corvette.

Very nicely done.

I just went through your album and was thoroughly entertained. Your creativity and 3D artwork is simply awesome!

I'd sell my Atomic Orange C6Z for this Atomic Orange beauty.
