Hi I stopped by the corvette cafe today on. On the way to London ky. Was talking to a guy that works at the corvette plant across the street. He pulled out his ipad and showed me actual photos of the test car. Very disappointed. Looks between a mix of a jaguar. Camaro and a audio a8. The video out is very close. I wouldn't give up my c6 for 2 of them. Gm really dropped the ball on this one. It's a shame to go from a beautiful car that the c6 is to that piece of crap, he says that they are having serious computer and electrical issues with it. The headlights look audi. The rear looks like a Camaro and the side looks like a jaguar. The analog gauges are now gone all led...

From what he said he works in the interior dept. he took the pics with his phone and emailed them to himself. I offered him lunch if we emailed them to me. Wouldn't do it. They were real pics of a white c7. I couldn't believe what they had done to it. From what I can see it doesn't have long to live. I think it's going to go over like a lead balloon. I mean let's get real here. The *** is ugly. Same design as the Camaro. It's a real shame. I was looking forward to something Ferrari looking. Not even close.

Not sure if you've ever to the plant in bowling green. There isn't much security. It's all wide open. The last tour I took there was when they were building the Cadillac 2 door with all corvette components. Built at the rear of the same plant. No big secret. It was rt there for everyone to look at. Before long just the c6 you'll see them
All over ky being test driven. Don't know what kind of drugs the designers were taking but they really screwed the pooch on this one

Cmon Harley, is this thread reasonable ? Why not download the pic that you saw or if that is truly impossible is the car you saw identical to the Jalopnik drawing? Any obvious differences? Did your buddy mention the 4 seats in the car? If that is the case it would have to be big news to anyone in the building. Please, it is not nice to tease grown men!

I tend to believe what Harley is sayin' and I know many here don't want to believe that the car may be a albatross, but if it looks like the video that Trinity put together, I'm glad I own my C6 Z06.

I just don't care for what I've seen so far...granted it is still speculation but more and more people are pointing to the same basic styling cues. I'm sure it will be powerful but lets face it, less cubic inches but more efficiency is in our future thanks to the leadership and new Obozo/democrap driven EPA standards in our near future. I'll stick with my less efficiant 427 thank you very much.

I do know that everyone in the building receives security tape over their cell phone camera lens that must be there when they leave. It's tamper evident tape, so if you move it, it shows. In this age of camera's on everything though...what can you do really?

I personally think the people at the plant have too much pride, and the risk is just not worth trying to get pictures of the car. Those people wanna keep their jobs....it's not an easy job to obtain.
