Hell freezes over! Why it doesn't matter how good the C7 is...
Motor Trend publishes their "Best Driver" top ten and the 2013 Mustang GT 500 outscores the ZR1!! The ZR1 doesn't even make the list!
The end is near!!

Like one other posted before I don't think GM cares (same with me) about the Mustang in respect to the Corvette, just like Ferrai would care less about a Corvette or 911 having more power than it's 599. You never hear the Corvette and Mustang in the same sentence amongst GM officials, let the Camaro deal with that.

Relax, relax. They only include new/revised cars in that test. That and its based off subjective feel. I'm sure if you compare the gt500 and zr1's time the proof is in the numbers. Although I don't think they've tested a zr1 with track pack yet...

In my opinion, Motor Trend is ghey. I would rather read Glamour.

There really is no point in trusting the opinion of magazines when a significant source of money comes from the very manufacturers they rate/evaluate/and criticize.
The only reason I would ever look is for (possibly) different photos, specs, prices, etc.

Regarding body style, here is an article stating the best looking cars of all time. Maybe GM should study these type of cars?

Motor Trend and the ZR1
The article states the Corvette ZR1 was not included in the test because when it was last tested it "underperformed" and "no substantial changes have been made to it since its last testing". Ferrari did not lend a car to be tested.
It lists the judges and they are the same that write of Car and Driver and Road and Track. Porsche lovers rejoice, advertisement money in those mags pay off!

I don't know exactly how the magazines did their testing before but recently I have noticed they collaborate with others ( Internet sites, magazines, TV shows ) when they test groups of cars ( shootouts ).

Shhh. This doesn't help fit the article into BlueOx's Corvette belief system.
