I am begging now..How about an actual pic, blurry or from 100 feet , I don't care , just anything different than that two dimensional drawing. No animations based on that two dimensional drawing either please..
I was at Carlisle Corvettes today and I tried to hard to trick a few Chevy reps into revealing info but I got nothing.

So the theme I got from that article was "relax guys, it may be ugly, but you'll get used to it!"
And I'm not a sky is falling kinda guy, but my hopes are fading fast since, lets be real, there's been shots taken of all but certifiable body parts. The devil may be in the details, but things look questionable at the moment...

Everyone knows what the car looks like, have known for months, if you want to face the truth.
Jalopnik nailed it. Look at the camoed car.
Why can't people accept that??
I don't understand all this confusion

I agree...and if it is the Jalopnik car, I am no so sure that would be the end of the world as most are suggesting. The more I look at it and visualize how that design would look live, I think that it will make the C6 look very dated. I really believe the rear end will look better in person (more ferrari, less camaro)

Just think most expected more from GM, if what Jalopnik has posted. Years ago in an economy far far away, it was an exiciting time when the new models would come out and people would rush to the local dealerships to see the new models! I am hopeful that the new model will be the panty dropper we were all expecting. With that being said it just does not make good financial sense for GM to give us more than a warmed up C6 with Camaro tail lights. Happy I own a C2 and would break open the piggy bank if GM ever truly listened and built what we wanted! Very funny on other car forums I am on there always seems to be someone from the German car makers that interact when and before changes are about to occur.

The more I look at it, the more I see a horribly mutillated 13+ viper with really, really bad proportions. And I dont think the new viper looks that great myself, but I'd take it over what I've seen so far(ignoring price ranges).

It's fun to see the projected C7 and the Viper side by side. I didn't have negative feelings about it before, but now the latter looks like a horrible squashed shoe.

I hope to God that the bumper cover for the C7 pictured is not actual. That is so plain it reminds me of a basic volume GM commuter car as far as design detail. There is nothing exiting about that feature of the car.
Also, I don't care for this 3/4 view of the car. In fact, on my c6 coupe, that is also the view that I like least. It just looks unfinished to me.
Also, in this view I don't care for the rear section of the car where the side meets the back and just drops off at a sharp angle. Makes me think it is missing something.
One thing I have noticed about GM cars over the years is the first model year the car is kind of boring and then eventually down the line it starts looking good and makes the first model year look dated. This C7 picture to me looks exactly this way; plain.
I had an 82 Camaro Berlinetta in the late 80's and I would say the front of this C7 render looks similar to that as far as boring.
The side cove reminds me of what Ford did to the Focus just before this latest model. It had a silver "F" looking chrome piece and it stuck out like a sore thumb.
I hope the new C7 does actually look better in person and is flashier than what this picture shows.

I think everyone should face reality and start to accept the Jalopnik renderings as accurate.
Either A) The Jalopnik renderings are accurate or B) This is the greatest, most elaborate "bait and switch" strategy tactic ever employed by an automotive manufacturer.
I am going with "A"
