This angle looks very good!

I like it and think the C7 will look pretty close to this rendering. In person, the car will look even that much better. Good pic.

Well, that will only take a simple bolt on kit to make your C6 look just like the C7....
Honestly, it isn't that bad, just not as revolutionary as some are making it sound.

I believe the rear posts and center glass taper more towards the center of the car as they recess from the roof of the car. I'm basing this on the camoed spy pics i've seen. Amnyone else agree?

I'm "Apache" a psycho dog
Not liking those at all, why not run them all the way up the fender for that matter
A case of over doing something, if one is good two is better and so on.
Seriously if those led's could be photo shopped out would that car look any less desirable? i say no.

Is the C7 a wide body?
Trinity Animation has re-rendered the comparative images they produced a while back to more accurately represent the cars. Given that these views are less 'distorted', and that the Z06 is pictured next to the C7, would you say the C7 'base' is now a wide-body or not?

If these renderings are on the money, it means we will have yet another flat-*** slab rear end Corvette. Everything else looks good. Why can't they get the *** end right??
Geez. Give me strength.

Around here in Cheater County, Pa there are many Audi and other high and low end brands that use them and it is becoming increasingly boreing, not unlike when everyone leaves their fog lights on both day and night. Even BMW angle eyes are starting to ware on me. Couldn't they design something entirely new?

If you look at the Omega Tool pic of the rear facia mold, there is a lot more 3 dimensionality to it then these renderings would indicate. I agree, it is a large flat area but I imagine there is more there than what we are seeing so far. What bugs me is how large the license plate area is and I can imagine an aftermarket piece that fits into that large area to break it up.

Personally, I like this rendering better than anything else I've seen thus far. However, if indeed the final product is similar to this, it is disappointing IMHO. It's just not very striking or imaginative.
If/when a C7 ZR1 comes out, I will be hard pressed to drop $140K+ on this design. Yes, it will likely come with some impressive performance, at half the price of most exotics. But, for my taste, the renderings are about as appealing as a GTR. Excellent performance per $, but not very sexy to look at.
Like many others here, I'm somewhat pessimistic based on what I've seen...BUT, optimistic that what has been presented, won't be close to the final product. Jalopnik is either going to gain some serious credibility, or get poked with a red hot FAIL brand. Of course, the same will be said for GM.
