Default Trinity/jalopnik I'm.Not.Feeling.It.

I know everyone's commenting on the new body style....but I hate it. It's too round, too soft and wavy, tries too hard, I'm sorry it doesn't look good in my book. I'm disappointed.

I'll keep my my C6 Z06.

Mark

Hmm, so I guess you won't be buying the new Trinity/Jalopnik sports car....but do you have any interest at all in the new 2014 Corvette that has been neither released nor even officially shown yet by Chevrolet?

I hope your right. I hope Chevy releases a car that looks nothing like the trinity jalopnik crap!

We haven't seen the real C7 and folks are saying they won't be buying vaporware. Seems prudent to me.

But I'll be buying a C7, just like I bought two C6's, two C5's, two C4's and two C3's in the past.

Your not buying just makes it easier for folks that want to buy a C7 to get an allocation which by the way I already have.

So I want to thank you for not buying a C7.

Now that is true dedication...buying sight unseen. I love corvettes, but I couldn't do that. More of a wait and see type person, let them iron out the creases so to speak, then buy mid cycle.

I would like to sound cocky and say I am buying "sight unseen" but in reality you can always get your deposit back if things go completely sideways.

I have had a tough few years and I really need to have fun with this car and I gotta admit, between keeks, Omega, Trinity, Jalop, Kiss, and now our master photoshopper, MikeG37, I am having a blast "speculating" about this car !

The best rumor I have heard yet is the weight issue. That and the narrow tires on the mule is wild stuff !

Really? I thought for sure you'd at least lose your deposit. I stand corrected. Maybe he's not such a rebel after all.

Every scenario is different and every contract is different. In this particular case, I placed a deposit to have a place in line. I hope that around May of 2013 , they will call me into the dealer and create an ordered car. At that point they may say that if I decide not to take delivery of this car my deposit is not refundable. Ok, that's fair.

I have always said, dealers don't want your deposit money, they want to sell you a car.

You have an allocation? Why are you lying? Nobody has an allocation yet.

You love Vettes but you must have bought some lemons if you had to buy two of each model!! I have only had one C4, one C5 and one C6 and they were perfect!!!LOL
