I think this is indeed the new C7 direction with a few slight modifications. It more evolution than revolution from a design perspective. Whereas the Japolink rendering are more revolution [ an old retro one at that] than evolution.
My guesstimate and I'm sticking with it becuase it takes the F12 design cues and works it into a vette expression. Traditional corvette styling methodology.
