It appears to have a deeper trunk area. Also, look at the vents on the hood

Looking at the deck lid, you can see that the quarter windows are not part of the deck lid, note the cut out. I hope the vents on the hood are only on the performance model. I'm not sure I like that design feature.

Nice find. The backs of the seats don't seem to have the panels in place. This C7 section is really getting a lot of activity.

Fuel Mileage ...............
Bet they'd get better fuel mileage if they'd clean all that junk out of the cargo area ..................

Some observations:
Trunk lid pull down slot looks like good idea.
Intrusion of rear quarter windows/panel looks like tight fit for storing targa top.
Red brake light looks like sloppy fit with spoiler.
Starting to see hints of interior door panels.

And I can remember G M's response when we complained about them doing away with the pull down on the C6 hatch ............... "You don't need it !"

Also gives a good idea as to how much the rear glass contracts at the base.

i'm kinda surprised that they designed the hatch seam to close directly upon the quarter windows. I would have thought for sure they would have added some body structure just aft of the windws to create the seam. Look at how those seals afix to the windows. And you're going to have the hatch close on that over and over. I can see those seals being a quality issue in a few years.
