Other than intake and exhaust valves, retainers, and connecting rods, are any other components Ti candidates? Are Ti valves and especially connecting rods cost effective for the base Gen V C7 engine? I suspect no, but I'm open to wiser input.

Did you guys not see the 40KW(53 hp) more power with ti/Al alloy valves? Even more savings and lighter weight Con rods. Lighter cheaper exhaust systems.
Think 475HP 6.2L, Then a 525 HP high performance 6.2L and a 600HP 7.0L and 800HP 6.2L turbo.
Think Ti/Al A arms Ti/AL trans cases, diff cases, seat frames, frames. Lighter stronger than Aluminum frames and better fatigue resistance. Imagine a 2,900 pound Corvette.
Rutta Kunge doesn't bring the answers; he brings the patents and papers, the rest is up to your imagination as to what GM can do with the technology they have access to.
