Is'nt that the Trinity (3D) rendering? I had that as my screensaver awhile ago.

I hope they didn't go with that "square" back window...to me that's more unappealing than the tail light treatment. But, then again, that's just the view the "other guy" is gonna see. so I suppose we'll learn to live with it...

I have no clue...it just looks pretty reasonable. The 13th will tell. I have read nothing about three varieties either, base, zo6 type, zr1 type all with different hp. What will happen with the two top versions?

It's hard to tell but in this photo the upper door sill is extremely wide and caries that way onto the rear quarter. Not liking the aesthetics of this at all, everything is too square IMO!

You can thank Trinity Animation and Jim Lammers for that rendering of the C7 months ago. They do a lot of great work including for the animated series "Archer".

that's cool. I assumed the rendering or photo had been seen but it looked kind of interesting from all the various things I'd heard. I sure hope they haven't done Camarro tail lights and treatment on the C7. Not a fan. Some essential differences would be smarter I'd think. I still remember when they made the Ford thunderbird a four door sedan and it just drifted away......It will be interesting on the 13th. Not long now. Don't you wonder how close Jalopnik has been?

It sorta depends on how close "close" is. I certainly think we have seen the basics pretty clearly for over a year. The devil will always be in the details. And what we don't know is what, if any, changes have been done in the last year. We also don't know for sure if the images Jalopnik published are the final final.

The real shocker would be if all the images we have seen are just a dodge floated out there by GM and it really looks like this...

i think new AND current members should be required to have a 5 day waiting period and view at least 20 threads before posting in the C7 forum

that would be a shocker considering the shape of all the camo test cars in the spy shots...those are not C6s...and they look just like the Jalopnik car.

I hope all the supposed photos are all wrong. I own a C5 Z06 and to me, the C6 was a big letdown. I still don't like it. The C7 rederings are even more disappointing. Good thing I really like my present car, I might be driving it a while longer.

Wait -- the Archer animators did that C7? *nerdgasm* When will we get to see Sterling Archer doing something horrible to a new Corvette?

The season premiere is January 17th... can't wait!

Didja git any on ya?

You didn't know that? They do all the backgrounds from the talks I've had with Jim.

Yeah, it is my single favorite animated series.

I think New and Current members should have a comprehensive eye exam, and Cataracts removed before they come here talking about they hope "This doesn't look like that" when we have seen the "shape silhouette" of the car. The taper of the rear glass is seen in every mule pic out there , ... and there are dozens! This cannot change! The length, height, width, wheel wheel shapes, windshield, door glass, forward roof, ... all this is clearly established and cannot change, yet people are hoping a totally different car will emerge from thin air ! ???
