Default Release Reaction Poll

I am curious at this stage what the actual reaction will be once the car is revealed and you personally have a chance to see it in person.

If it had not been for this acclimation period of Jalopnik.....keeks....etc., I am quite sure I would have been either confused or polarized at Detroit. But, having explained that, I am now quite sure I will love the 3D version with a real heart and soul !

I am totally impressed with the information we have from GM. Combine that with the CAD shots from Keeks and all the spy photos we have seen the C7 will be awesome. (Incuding the tailights)

I think overall, it's going to be a positive one. Regardless of what ppl think about the tail lights, rear bumper, scoops, etc, those emotions are going to be overtaken by the ones focused on all the other aspects of the car. The ppl that say they wont buy one, based on renderings, will be jumping through their *** trying to get on a list to get one. A lot of ppl are non-receptive to change, but I think this one will create a different impression. JMO!!

I'm really happy that the basic C7 with no spoiler tacked on will finally have a smooth well-designed roofline befitting a world class sports car.

Yes, now you and I can STFU!

Bottom line is there just is no pleasing everyone. The reaction will be all over the map just like it is now about every Corvette generation.

I'm excited as hell to see it and hope it will be as awesome as you seem to think it is.

As of right now, there are a few things I dont like. The rear, the side vent, and the hood vents. I'm waiting for the interior and hope it doesnt disappoint. I will reserve full judgement until I see the official release pics and video. Usually, horsepower and performance numbers help make stuff you dont like, acceptable. But I have no doubt that it will be the best vette yet and will be so far ahead of anything before it that it will make the previous model seem very old.

I'll wait for the hp.

That said - I hope it's a huge hit and knocks my socks off.

The c6 is still beautiful but it's been around since 2004...

I know the c7 will be tight like a Ferrari f12 in styling and I look forward to it's release.

That said...I'll still hang for 3 years before I go for one...

I'm on the 3 year cycle after launch before I buy another new one...

My 08 is treating me good and I have to try an be a responsible adult....LOL

Or so I ll try to be...

Btw I appreciate the info and guessing etc as part of the fun.....this new corvette is going to be stunning! And perform like a raped ape without a doubt in my mind...

I can't wait till the details on performance and handling emerge as fact....same with the final production model styling...

Mr Welburn's team of designers will have outdone themselves with the c7...
