With a lull in the C7 leaks and not hearing much about what our wives/husbands think, what if anything are you doing to get her/him acceptance of you spending this much on a "new" or "another new" Corvette? Singles, snarky comments also welcome.

For me, I just bought my wife a new cedar chest to store the quilts she seems to finish about once a month. Cost me only $443.14. But I am letting her buy a new Bernina Quilters Model Sewing Machine, around $3k next year

I may have to build up more credits with her before I order my new C7.

Not really a lull in leaks.... Check tuxharley's post on new tailight photos.... They look vaguely familiar

Tuxharley: Oh yeah, I forgot to tell ya..............
.............that those aren't C7 tail lights. They're actually replacement lenses for a 2010 Ford Taurus. I knew I'd seen that design someplace before, it just took me a while to figure it out and track them down. Now I know why I dislike it as much as I do - a design cue stolen from an effing Taurus.......

Nice try keeks, so what about gaining the wife's approval?

She'd like to have a C7 auto so she can drive it! Plus it should have better gas mileage which matters to her.

If I told the bank about my "choke a horse" alimony obligations they might not finance my C7 purchase !

Did that answer your question CJ ?

I've just lied about the amount of money I've been spending on the Chevelle lately and I've also been letting her shop like crazy. Last but not least we've agreed to have a child. Sooo as of now she has no qualms about me buying a C7 whenever the performance version comes out. She knows I won't have a child out of wedlock so I guess I've been duped into marriage too....well 4th go round shouldn't hurt. Lmao.

Maybe she'd be more agreeable if you took that avatar pic of her down?

At first the girlfriend had a hesitation after buying me all my current C5 mods, but now she wants me to sell her C4 and add it to the downpayment on the C7. I couldn't even begin to take her C4 away...it's too beautiful and it's an auto.

She's on board now to add another Vette to the collection.......I love her soo much!

I live in TX. Minimum alimony state. Also if spouse is under the age for 100% retirement based on SS age tables and no minor children, she'd better have or, be ready to get a job !
