The first picture (to me) shows a different rear shot than the one shown later in this thread. The first one to me looks like it flows better with the car than the other one. I like it myself... I think it looks pretty good.

It might be close... but I'm sure there are a few details that these renderings aren't getting right.

I like it enough to hopefully really like the real thing when it makes it's debut Jan. 13. I just might sell off one of my C5's to make room for a C7. Course, I would want the Z06 version.

Some things never change, yo!
Change is always hard to get used to. They haven't built a bad Corvette yet I doubt this will be the first.

I think it would grow on me.

I'm currently loving the C6... really makes me want a yellow C6 Z06

Are you JOKING-74-86 were TURDS, even the early C5 were nothing to write home about. 1st 1-2 years of any Vette run I would generally shy away from. Mid run is generally the best.

I like it I bet it will look awesome come 1-13-13. I think it will draw a younger crowd and that's what they(GM) wants to do.

This is what I see... the rear end has the latest European super car look with a lot of angles.. Look at any of the high end super cars.. they all have this very busy angled look in the rear. I'm sure they are going for the refined super car look. I saw this when i was leaving GM... I left just when the C6 was coming on board... We were the old guys.... out going.. the new team was a push toward refined European design.. you should have heard the controversy over the headlights... Here is the rub.. us old guys were into " AMERICAN sports cars, with a muscle car heart... not European refinement. While the C6 has grown on many.. its not an American looking sports car... we lost that in 2005.

Thank you for being part of the greatest car I've ever owned! While most already know my opinion about Designing the new car, and the missed opportunity of the design teams. I look forward to the next incarnation of what GM wants the Corvette to be.

Sadly, it will most certainly be beyond my reach.....and thankfully so, cause it gives me the choice of keeping my C5.

So end the end.....E.T. We still enjoy one of the greatest Corvettes ever!

It must give you a good sense of pride to see how much they are still enjoyed!
