Default C7 with a back seat

When you look at the latest drawings, pictures. When you look at the back with the hatch open, it looks like it could have a back seat. Also there are rear quarter windows. Do you think a rear seat is a possibility?

Highly doubt the C7 will have a back seat. I think that sketch your referring to gives the illusion there could be one, but to me it looks like the typical flat rear deck behind the seats like in C5 & C6 Vettes.

I agree, looks like the seat back will retract to make a flat floor like the aft seat in a station wagon. You can see the forward brackets for targa top storage on each side something like the C6 has. You will not be able to store terra top and use the rear seat. If there is a rear seat delete option, the seat cavity will still be there, more storage? A retractable rear seat is not a bad idea.

I would agree except for the targa hold down brackets.

The Corvette with a back seat is called a Camaro.

See your local Chevy dealer.

There is no back seat. Look closely. Notice the overall level of detail in the illustration -- weatherstripping around the hatch, for example. Now notice there is absolutely no gap between the horizontal and vertical sides of the cargo floor. If that was a seatback, there would be a gap.

Notice the cargo floor is slightly wider at the front than at the back. Imagine rotating the seatback into the (beyond) vertical position. The top is too wide to fit between the sides. And the seatback would be too tall to fit under the hatch.

Notice there are no headrests and no provision for rear shoulder belts.

Explain where the fuel tanks, which in C5/C6 are directly behind the seats under the cargo floor, can be moved to.

Finally, consider that the horizontal ridge behind the front seats is a critical structural member in the C6. How do you replace that stiffness?

Back seat myth busted.

I don't see a back seat option in the newest manual pics. But I would be extremely upset if it had them....

.....because I'd want one Sooooo bad!

It's no way shape or form a camaro if it had 2+2

If you look really hard you can see the rear doors to access that back seat.

What is the hook above the wheel well on both sides? not on the floor but up on the wheel well below the speaker? That is how it holds up the back seat in my 99 Camaro. Also rummors of a "backseat delete option" may be the pictures we are looking at?

Yeah, considering the size of the being that could use the rear seats the doors are not very big. Could be mistaken for gas refill flaps.
