Anyone planning on trading their 09-12 C6ZR1s or 06-12 C6Z06's on a C7 right away?

Bruce,
Come on, admit it, the real reason you started this thread, is so you can see if you pick up you 10th C6 Z or C6 ZR1, in the last 1.5 years, from somebody for dirt cheap here.

I heard the C7 will have heated/cooled seats, cup holders will be heated to keep your coffee warm and AND!! A place to hang your gold chains and hat.
With that said.... now who's thinking about heh HEH????? YEAH!

I sold my mint 07 Z06 in 2011 when the market was still strong - got what I paid for it after 18 months of ownership.
I have my dealers first customer allocation for a C7. I'm all set.

I have a less than year old 2012 Z07 loaded and wanted the last of the 427 NA on the best platform the Vette has ever been on. There is no way I would trade this great car for a low end stock C7. When they come out with something like the next C7 ZR1 then it will be time to jump in the pool.......Steve

C7 vs. C6
I haven't found anyone in our corvette club that likes the new C7 based on the rendering pictures so far. Everyone says they will keep or upgrade to a C6. No one likes the rear in, too much like the camera.

Well I am in a much less advantageous position but nonetheless on the fence on WHEN and IF I plan on getting a C7.
I have had my SS Camaro a little under a year now and its a little over twenty thousand miles. I am itching to trade it in but will definitely be keeping it as my daily driver for at least one more full calender year taking me out of the running for a first year C7 Coupe.
Now the things I am considering are "What if the Z06 priced Model is discontinued" "Will they have a 427 like Vert or Gran Sport Vert right away making a Base Vert completely underwhelming" "
Around the time the C7 Vert is unveiled and released will be when I am looking at trading in the Camaro and getting a new car and after spending an hour surrounded by Gran Sports a ZR1 a Z06 and 427 verts at my dealership the other day getting my oil changed I am more tempted than ever to go with the Vette.
I still don't want it to be completely outclassed by a curvier more robust version within a couple of years when I can easily wait and drive the hell out of the Camaro and get my moneys worth on it.
Maybe the Vert will do it for me and convince me to not worry about future releases outclassing my first Corvette maybe not. But performance wise these cars are still hard to outclass and the more I deal with Camaro level weight I want not only a horsepower increase but a considerably weight decrease as well for my next performance vehicle and Corvette fits the bill perfectly.
Well see I suppose

Everyone I've talked to says the same thing too. Sure we haven't seen the actual car yet but I believe that everyone is referring to the renderings that do at least show what to expect.

1st C7 vette to be sold in Arizona this month
The new C7 at this weekends Detroit car show will be sold at the Barret Jackson car show in Scottsdale Arizona next week or so. I'm guessing it will be sold for 1 million dollars on the auction block. I don't think GM has another C7 stuff away someone. The BJ car show said this was number #1 C7.
