Be the first to see the C-7
As many of you know...........................
From: Chevrolet
To all Corvette Owners & Enthusiasts:
1-13-13 is almost here!!!
This Sunday, January 13, 2013, the next chapter in Corvette’s long history will be written with the unveiling of the 2014 Corvette.
The unveiling is schedule to occur at 7 PM, Eastern Standard Time, in an undisclosed location in Detroit. The location limits the number of people who will be able to attend the event, but that does not preclude anyone from viewing the event live.
The unveiling of the 2014 Corvette will be “live streamed” through various websites including Chevrolet’s one13thirteen.com site and the Corvette Facebook page. People interested in viewing the webcast are encouraged to “tune-in” by 6:55 PM, Eastern Standard Time, as the webcast will start promptly at the top of the hour.

I'd bet most people just expected to see a few camera phone & press pictures leak out after the event is over. The actual reveal event is not open to the public.

Actually, I was distracted and didn't know the 13th was Sunday, nor did I know the time. I also didn't know that it could be gotten at that website even tho I still may miss it due to a potential conflict.
Considering the recent post about those who already know what the car is going to look like from all the early stuff in C7 forum, this one is good news. I'll make every effort to watch it. Thanks.

Just an FYI...but there are 150 people that get to go to the press release. The Corvette Museum sold tickets to the reveal along with room. I am excited to be one of those 150 people!

This picture sure makes it look like the C7 will have the round taillights that seem to be the favorite here on the forum. When the C6 was in testing, they had them out there with C5 body panels to disguise the new look, but in this case, the taillights appear to be much smaller than the C6, so they are not just using a C6 rear fascia as a disguise. Also, there are obvious LEDs there. I continue to hope for the classic round lights rather than the Camaro-esque ones.
