Not stock by any means, plus shiting with a controller. You dont sound to be on the stock tranny either...gearing appears shorter. You have way more grip, so you're on slicks for sure. I'll spare you the driving critique...the fact you have the race line illuminated is enough said.

Yes, I take my driving games seriously....lol.

You can't modify the car except for tires.

Oil change. I didnt attempt any mods, so frankly I didnt know you couldnt? If thats the case, then there is no way he was running 7:09's like he claimed earlier....not with that race line...hell no.

Wait a minute pardner... Don't jump to conclusions. You have mistaken your facts somewhere. I never ever at anytime anywhere told anyone that I ran 7:09's at all. You must have pulled that out of thin air. Secondly that "raceline" is just a suggested course of where to be on the track and if you really paid attention, you would see I frequently MISS the mark!

There are no mods to the car except the oil change and running racing "soft" tires. As far as my time is concerned.... It's just a game!

I was just posting a video I made of using the Sony generated Camo'd C7. So relax, kick your feet up and chill. I wanted to see if I could video the lap using my iphone and tripod mount.
It turned out rather well after a few attempts of me forgeting to do this or do that, start the iphone, or simply just run off the track during gameplay.

The C7 in GT5 actually drives rather well, but makes me feel like it's a mid-engine car cause it's balanced rather well.

Edited, physics would actually dictate the car would handle like a mid-engine if the balance of placing the engine in front and drive components in back cancelled each other out. weight would be 50/50. Which is what people have wanted out of the Corvette since the days of mounting engine and tranny up front.

Here is a full lap with a stock car with standard tyres, not racing soft tyres: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c7-g...rismo-5-a.html

I'm also using Logitech G27 with cluth and 6-speed manual gearbox together with a wheel

There are FR cars that have a 50/50 weight balance, and even the current C6 Corvette is not very far off from that at 51/49. Typically mid-engine cars have a rear biased weight.

I downloaded the content but can't find the C7 in my garage. Where do you find it? Is it only available in ARCADE or something?

Thanks for any help!

You have to install the downloadable content...its on the first screen where you select arcade or whatever. Then you'll get a card to use to get it...

There are a lot of good setups available if you want to put a little in to it.

I see your "The Quest" poster back there. I got mine the corvette tribute event at road america in 2011. The guy who shot it, lance and others from the movie were there. Where you get yours?

We had a private showing of The Quest here in Bowling Green during the Corvette Homecoming in 2011. Michael Brown and Lance came in for the night.

Yeah, same thing they did at elkhart. You get the guys to sign it? You see that shady move Lance has pulled with the final leman car they found? Hiding the car in light of theft accusations. I dont think chip would be too proud...

Default Nice driving SFC Rick

You were really smooth, good driving. I have driven the course in person several times when I was stationed over there. There is no way when you drive your only car that you go that fast. Too much at risk when you cannot replace the car if you ding it up. Your last high speed turn at the end almost got you in the grass. Good recovery. 7:44 is damn good.
Let us know if you get it under 7:35. That will be difficult.
Very good driving, you hit your apex lines consistently. Only four more days to go.
Cheers,
Fuze

I just had Michael sign it for me. He did a seminar at the museum that I facilitated in September so I asked him sign the poster then for me.

I honestly hadn't followed the story since all the drama came up after Carlisle. The whole thing is a mess. Sad really.
