Hmm - I dunno, mixed reactions.

On one hand there is something about that which is different/better than the other renderings.

On the other hand - more "Angry Birds"............?

Really? Well duh it is going to look similar.. THAT IS THE REAR END.

However, from the photo you just posted, unless you are blind, you can see the bottom is indeed blacked, the tails also are more 3D and fluid with the lines of the car... the stance looks "right". (these are the correct proportions).. this picture gives a MUCH better depiction of what we are seeing come Sunday. Mark my words

Not sure about the frame of the rear lights but the actual light or lens themselves are circular. Look at the camo rear end. The tiny led lights are rounded.

The camo cars were not using production tail lights or head lights.

GM has been doing this for a while now.

That does look pretty good. Some of the other renderings were slightly out of proportion and made it look somewhat...cheap? But this looks first class to me. The thing I have a hard time with is the rear quarter window. I just think it would look alot meaner without it. But I imagine, considering the change to the rear window, that it was more to satisfy the NTSB than anything they really wanted to do. I imagine I could live with it, at least until the aftermarket creates a fix.

Its so funny - there will be so many people who HATED the rear end and taillights on the rendering and now when the official pictures come out they will have miraculously changed their mind and love it even though it is basically the same as what we've been seeing forever.

Your exactly correct, it will look terrific, who cares about the rear lights being round, as long as they look good.

Always the case. They're gonna flock to the dealers and order one.

Wow no "Corvette" in that rear end at all. Worse than I expected.

Just as with the C5 and C6 many folks will want to quietly edit their posts about how ugly the C7 is and how GM killed it all the while posting photo's of their new C7's and how many coats of ZAINO they intend on applying.

Exactly my thoughts. And we've had to deal with theses naysayers for a long time. I've always thought this C7 would look spectacular and soon we will see it in all it's glory.

Looks like a new color, between silver and comp grey. I like what I've seen from the beginning thats why I put my deposit down in November.
