The rear view mirror in the one pic above looks nothing like the one in my 2012. Are you disappointed by the lack of buttons on the mirror?

Drifting
I'm excited with it; can't wait for the driving test/reports. 7 spd/Z51/sport seat/convertible for me. If I'm not mistaken, it looks like the 4 cyl mode can be turned off (ECO mode not selected). 32 mpg on the freeway can come in handy when low on fuel but I'd rather listen to V8 music whenever I can.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Auto Trans is changed 2-3 years in. Seems like every generation has to have a few relatively noticeable tweaks after the first few years....
The car is also an inch wider already; makes me wonder what they're going to do for the Z version?

I like the exterior styling, but the interior is a disaster (which seems to be a Corvette tradition). I would never buy one from a company owned by our government, but if that ever changes, it might be worth a look.

The red c7 in the picture looks a lot better even than it did at the reveal. Immensely sexier than base c6, the z06 will be awe inspiring. Must have one. Hope the new motors fare better on the track.
Well done gm, well done.

I'd like it better if the hood and front fender vents were body color, and the wheels were anything but black.
That having been said, I'm anxious to hear about various Z06/ZR1/GS-styled performance packages in a year or two, so I know which one to add to the stable

Black wheels are the new trend throughout the industry. Get used to them

Melting Slicks
...and just when you do, they'll be yesterday's news! I'm sure the "industry" likes them because they're cheap to mass produce. (extra profit) More than 20 yards away and they're indiscernible from a klunker's missing wheel covers.
