Got to give it a 5 for now until I get my hands on one. The picture of the car in red is super nice but the rear views kill it for me again, just as they do on my C6. I'm afraid GM has shot themselves in the foot to as we can see a big increase in pricing for this car.

I think it looks pretty good. I'd have to see it in person but first impressions give it a 9+.
I hate black wheels so would have liked to have seen chrome wheels. Would also liked to have seen a color coordinated roof panel.
Visually it looks way better than a C6, but obviously not as good as a C5.

after all the speculation and hype....I love the look of the interior most and the way it vents and directs airflow over the vehicle......I found myself looking at the interior and nose of vehicle far more than the *** end that got a disproportionate amount of attention before reveal in my opinion.
If it is a winner on the track in performance, handling, and also being obtainable for buyers...then I think it will be home run from that perspective only. I also liked the Stingray monicer being reborn.

I was very skeptical, especially about the possible Camaroish rear end.
The car has finally graduated from the "American Sportscar" to a true World Class Sportscar.
We were at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles yesterday and one of the cars they have on exhibit is the first GM sponsored Piρanfarina attempt from the 60's or 70's to make the Corvette an international sports car. The lineage from that car is very apparent here.
As much as I earlier decried the possible Camaro look in the rear, this is not by any means such a look. It is quite simply the look needed to round out the overall internationalization or euro look that the Corvette has long needed to compete in the global arena.
I applaud the vision of the Corvette team and welcome the new Stingray. Likely, a very fitting name.

You guys are nuts...that car is STUNNING...then to roll out red with some black wheels...hell yes! Exposed carbon roof...ridiculous presence and stance. From angles that hood is going to look incredible. Drawings did that car NO justice. Moment it rolled out, I was like...SH*T...
