And yet you still bought a C6 after the C5.

Hated the c6 and bought a C5Z06 instead. I'm up for the C7. I still think the C3 is the best looking vette ever.

put a PIC up, side by side, at 3/4 rear view, of the C7 and a Camaro. They are obviously related. This was never the case in the past. That's why I'll never buy one.

2nd gen Camaro and C3 do have some similar lines IMO.

It looks like it came from a "Transformers" story board. Which is to say not very elegant. I suppose if you're a fan of the art design style of the Cadillac you'll be a fan. For me, they missed on the C7 just as they did on the C6. For my money, the C5 is still the benchmark for modern Corvette design.

BINGO!!!!

I couldnt put my hands on it, but was thinking it has too many sharp lines and then...you say Cadillac. Couldnt be more right. Less muscle car design and more sleek Cadillac design. Not good or bad to me just different.

Why did I know the first post I would read would be this type of stupid crap. The exact same thing happened in 2004.

These were the statements I remember from back then...

"They ruined it"
"It's not a Corvette"
"No pop-up head lights? End of the line for the vette"
"Glad I bought my generation, it was the last true vette"
"Interior Sucks
"Exterior Sucks"
"Engine should have had more power"
.....BLAH BLAH BLAH

Every one has the right to their own opinion, but you think you might wait and actually see/drive one before you curse GM for ruining the brand?

As an owner of a C5 & C6, both great cars, I will be once again making a trip to the local Chevy store to put my order in. No test-drive needed.

so what else can you see besides the dash seats body panels and glass in the pictures? If you changed that on any car it would look different.

shorter wheel base and wider track is better handling. Lower car and lower CG probably too. 50/50 also with no mid engine is nice

it's new and you haven't seen it in person. You can't make every feature on a car for everyone a home run.

I'm really disappointed and just plain don't like it. Color won't make any difference either, ugly is ugly.
