"In honor of jpee"
Maybe I saw something that was not there, but the last closeup of the tail lights made it NOT look like Camaro. There seemed to be no surrounds of that awful metallic stuff. (subjective opinion re awful, but correct nonetheless no offense intended to any Camaro owners/likers)
As to the preview "reveal" I guess it really is just a brief intro to try and get you there to look at it. But that's not a good way to do things imo. Kinda like rock and streams and trees.
If the interior is that great, I would've liked to have seen more of it with closeup cameras of the car onstage, maybe top off.
If the body is so well designed (and I am not saying it isn't---I just can't tell), why not do a walk around with camera at window-glass height for all the "po folk" who can't be there.
If that's the way to intro cars, I'm not in complete favor of it. jmo.

I'm "Apache" a psycho dog
Hate the taillights and all the square lines as well, maybe in person it will make a better impression, but for now I'm not running to the showroom, and again not too impressed with the interior, maybe the materials and quality are better, but the dash is ugly, but I guess in time it will grow on most of us, for now to early render a verdict.
and at 41.09 of the video thats what im not liking at this point, maybe in person somehow it will look different/better to me but IMO a opportunity wasted for the car to have an individualistic look not a similar one.

Melting Slicks
Ya... and how about that passenger grab handle, looks like a triangle down the center console... WTF is that , ruins a otherwise decent looking console

And since the question was asked...yes, I would want to drive a fast brick as long as it is a world class fastest newest, best designed brick out there.

Nope, not feelin it.
The design just seems too busy for me. Too many body lines goin on.
And I agree with the vents and grilles everywhere, cheap plastic look. It has some interesting styling elements when you isolate them but taken in it's entirety don't think it works. The interior kinda looks like a throwback to the C4.
I'm sure the technical side will be cool.....

2020 C5 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Not feeling the looks at all. To many body lines, too square in the back, it looks like it morphed itself from God knows what! The car lost its heritage and iconic features including the tail end and lack of roundness! Don't like it, also they "estimate" 450hp, they don't know? Great release GM!! Thumbs down!!!
I watched it...not impressed...I have to see it in person; the interior looks like they ressurrected the C4 dash (?). The rear looks like a Pontiac and that little Stingray emblem they are making a big deal about looks stupid as hell to me.
