Car looks awesome. I'm not much for electronics control, but I love the fact that GM is adding some engineering to a manual vs going automated manual. Being innovative rather than monkey see monkey do like everyone else.

Initially the way they presented it it looked dissapointing in the weight category, but the more i read...not so much. Just bad presentation

99 lbs saved in the frame
37 lbs saved in the body
and I'm reading of a few lbs here and there they have saved on other things...so looks like they've done a damn good job with weight savings

The C7 revealed as others have said is a BASE model and it has more performance that the BASE C6 - and the Z06 & ZR1 versions will surely beat the old C6 versions.

It's unfortunate but all generations get replaced and the C7 will now be the top dog.

The 4yr old C6 ZR! beats the Viper, I have no doubt when the C7 ZR1 version comes out it will destroy it.

Don't worry man, your car was going to be irrelevant at some point anyways. No need to hate on the new generation. The C7Z and maybe ZR1 will come through to dust up any competition the base car hasn't wiped out yet.

The tQ is just 25 shy of the Z06, don't be to quick to sell this thing short. It's the tq that makes it boogie to hell with the HP.
