Default Optional interior thread color

Does anyone know if you will be able to choose the thread color on your interior? I.e. red thread with black interior.

Based on the Sales Guide (which is not final), NO.

It looks like the Interior team has coordinated this, which is just fine. No idiotic combinations by some errant owner.

Great question! I would like to see at least 3-4 color options.

Well if the "errant" owner orders it and pays for it, why should anyone else care? Porsche and Ferrari don't have a problem with letting the owner have it their way.

The manufacturer often controls options to avoid the hard to sell examples even on customer orders... lots do. I believe the reason is they don't know how a vehicle will be financed when it is ordered and if it is leased, they don't want to deal with it on lease return (color combos that are too hard to sell). Many manufacturers do this. With BMW, they won't allow certain combos but you can ask the factory for "permission" and sometimes they will allow it... sometimes not.
