YEP, SILVER is the Best, and my SWC will have a stable mate, and best thing is, another Stingray.

HOWEVER, it will be a convertible with red interior.

SILVER ROCKS

Dry sump and diff cooler isn't in the base model. Part of Z51 package.

Seeing your quotation abilities, you better look in the mirror to see one.

Now, sorry if it was already asked but is that color really a Blade Silver or the Cyber Gray?

It looks a bit dark for being a silver yet not dark enough to being a gray. Don't matter, whatever color it really is that is the color for me!

I like the red, Yellow and I bet I still would come home with a black one! Last 3 cars have been black, even though I looked at many other colors.

This is the first time I liked the next generation Vettes since the C4 came out. The C5 took a while to grow on me and even then I wasn't totally thrilled. The C6 looked better but it didn't hit me emotionaly. I liked the evolutionary changes and after a while I grew to love the C6. To me the C7 stikes a home run right out of the box and I am looking long term to trade my C6 for one in a few years. I'll wait for GM to come out with whatever upgrades (more power perhaps?) they come up with and to work out any bugs that might be there, but I will definately trade. In the mean time I am not done enjoying my C6 and I am thankful the Corvette is still being manufactured by capable and enthusiastic people.

Same crappy six speed automatic. Why didn't they spring for a ZF or Getrag DCT, both make wonderful DCT's.

I know what you mean. I thought the same when the C6 came out with the same crappy 4 speed transmission! It took until 2007 before GM put in a 6 speed auto transmission. My guess is GM will upgrade to a 7 or 8 speed auto in a couple of years. They always seem to do that with the Corvette; gradually put in drive train upgrades over the first year model. That's why I wouldn't buy a 1st year model; I want to see where they will take it before I leave my C6.

Actually, it was the 2006 MY that got the new A6, not the 2007. But they did extend the production of the 2005's several months(that's why the 2005 production figure is high) until the A6 was readyto go into production(waiting for the machining equipment to arrive from China).

I wasn't too sure at first, but it's growing on me. I'd have to have a Z51 car in that dark red.

GM calls it Cyber Gray.

All body and wheel combos can be found on the GM website now.

You'll have to navigate around to find them ... can't get a direct link. It's under the "Specs" section.
