Here's what I think is funny. Other photos like this were released and they were all called renderings, but after the release any picture like these are somehow not renderings.
Anywho, very nice.

the hud doesn't look as cool in that second to last picture as some of the other photos I've seen... Guessing the laser based won't be out yet

It didn't do it for me, but overall, I'd only rate the interior better, but I didn't fall in love with it due to that out of place passenger handle, and the arcade instrumentation.
I'm not a fan of raised hoods at all, and even less with those cheesy slats. Visibility is going to be greatly diminished with that hood. And there's no option for a normal one. The signature curved hatch glass will be sorely missed as well, further limiting visibility. Hope the seats feel better than they look. If made by Sabelt, which makes seats for Ferraris and the new Viper, they're probably not for me. I just can't find comfort on Ferrari's ultra expensive Daytona optional seats. And the latest comparo between a ZR1 and a new Viper, none of the testers liked the seats of the Viper after the test. They even said the Vette's seats have always been crap, but rated them better than the Viper. Ouch!.
Somebody needs to start a poll to see how polarizing this car is to current Vette owners. I expected much better. And by that I mean a further evolution of the C6, to something mire timeless, like the soon to change Aston Martin Vantage. It could easily have been close. But they went after a younger demographic. Hope they can actually afford the car .

The C7 blew away my highest expectations, especially with this new interior, and the 7 sp manual, and the rev matching, wow wow wow, ill just have to replace my 2012 C6 with the C7!!
