@ Vette-NV, smokin' looking ride! It looks like you have a real low profile tire on there, if I may offer an opinion you should drop the car about an inch, that would give it a better profile stance. Either way your car looks great! @tslick, great shot of your gleaming ride!! @Ron (red2012), spot on! The C6 cars are great looking cars and anyone who suggests they are "dated" is nuts! I look at my 427 vert and see a gorgeously sculpted body with great distribution of curves and body lines, now I haven't seen the C7 in person but the pictures have me asking myself where to rest my coffee cup! LOL @ mustang1999, blows away the Viper? You keep coming up with some real wacked out statements, but you are entertaining!!!

Why is this thread full of pictures of dated C6 cars? Take those dated and soon to be Old Fashioned cars to the C6 section where they belong.

The reason for pictures is because most people on here do NOT think the C6 looks dated. But then again, you drive a 99 Mustang.

One with an Obama sticker on it. And probably a weenie V6 too.
So obviously you'd be someone who knows about the cutting edge.

I have owned Corvettes all my driving life. Each one is special and unique. It seems to me that Corvette people are one of the nicest people I know. Form C1 to C7 they are all in the family. I really do not understand belittling each other. The new Corvette is just that new. It will be accepted just like the cars before it. Slamming each other's cars is not the way to go. I read C6 is much better hen C7. If that were true we would be going backwards, I like C6's they are great cars. I like the new C 7 a ground breaking car for the fans. They are two different cars with different features. At least wait until you can buy one before of dismiss it forever. SAVE THE WAVE

Thanks Big Guy! I would love to drop it but the rubber nose spoiler drags on my driveway as it is.....otherwise I would. The wheels are 19/20 so the tires are lower profile than stock but same diameter. Ride and handling is so much better than the OEM Goodyears.

Well that makes sense! Could you have put the same sidewall ratio on the 19/20 w/out it hurting the handling? I bet it does drive so much tighter!

Not sure...I just kept the same diameter so the computer didn't think anything was different. The tires are Nitto INVOS.....awesome grip, quiet, and great in the rain....not that it rains much here!
