i was thinkin bout this a couple days ago. i think that the first guy who orders one should get the first one made. i like watching these auctions but they have put the average guy out of the collecter market. i would love to own a 63 coupe, but that will never happen. guys like ron pratt got way too much money for me to compete. $750,000

Didn't the first ZR1 go for $1,000,000 w/vin #0001, Leno's ZR1 vin was 0001 and the first one sold to the public was vin 0001...so a $1,000,000.

I agree with Joe's assessment of what the C7 will sell for, just move the decimal point over 3 to the left. I would assume that guys like Leno and Pratt will bid on this car and since it is going for Charity the price may climb higher than a Million. Rich men's Toys.

$ 1,000,000 and if your name is not Hendrick, Pratt or Resler don't bother bidding

Default Bartender let me have another while im bidding

More than it should like most overpriced sales at BJ, it's a cocktail party for the rich, and if you watched it over the years you have never seen Hendrick, Dave Hessler or Pratt in a bidding war against each other for a particular vehicle. Interesting little club.

I found one of these in my change at Walmarts. Think it will be enough to cover it?

It should bring at least 7 figures. It could go higher if a production variance is found on the vehicle during the bidder's inspection. For example, the C5's had the frame serial numbers re-indexed on the very low VIN vehicles. I am going to Cobo to see the North American International Auto Show on Sunday. It will be nice to see the C7 in person!!
