New Subwoofer photo
I spoke about the improved sound system with better bass response last year.

You can see the sub grill in the back of the cargo area......

The launch press release from GM phrases it this way:
"An available premium 10-speaker audio system includes a bass box and two subwoofers – and speakers with rare-earth magnets that deliver greater sound quality with reduced weight and size."
So that back of the bus area looks like one small subwoofer and a bass box (passive radiator). I wonder where the other one is hidden?

Never once been impressed with Bose. Here's to hoping they change that for me..use much better amps then the c6 and decent range. IMO 10 speakers is overkill. Wish car companies would focus on sound quality in the front speakers/tweeters instead of just adding more speakers. Music studios record in stereo 99% of the time. IMO 10 speakers over complicates things and adds unnecessary weight

AKA two of those line arrays would still only be stereo, and yes it will blow a standard 2-way 2 driver speaker out of the water.

10 speakers does not equal 10 discrete channels. Here is an example of a single discrete channel, possibly a 3 way, using dozens of drivers:

Haha, good luck with that. GM...well with one exception, all car manufacturers build the sound system as an afterthought. I think speakers land where there are gaps in the body, and never in creative parts of the car. There is only one car that is engineered with good sound in mind.
