The LT1 supercharged will probably brake lots of things with that torque. I don't think they'll come up with anything other than small improvements on the LT1. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that one day the small block will have variable lift but not holding my breath.

Thought I would share these as I was curious as well. Looks like it could be an interesting rivalry down the road.
Though, it looks like Dodge (Fiat) is going the other way with Viper, in branding it stand alone and creating a, for lack of a better term, "boutique" low volume car. I hope it works for them, I like the Viper, but by the time you put all the optional goodies on it (most of which are standard on the current ZR1), you're close to the $200K mark. Whereas GM is keeping the Corvette right at home, a high performance, mass produced, relatively low cost car that you can drive everyday.
