i remember when i was 18 and was driving a gf around at the time in my 92. She light up a cigarette in the car because she knew I didn't allow smoking in it. I pulled over, unlocked the door and told her to gtfo.
She got out. And that was the end of that relationship. All her friends thought i was an *******, except one, the blonde who didn't smoke and loved corvettes.

Why are there even ash trays anymore? I know people smoke, but I haven't seen one person in my life smoke in a Corvette. On the flipside my cousin would smoke in his Viper and Gallardo with the top off

I don't smoke either, and I have never bought a car that smelled like it had been smoked in, but if someone buys a car and wants to smoke in it, then who am I to be critical of them smoking (or eating, or drinking) in their own car? I mean, if they want a $55000 ashtray, more power to 'em! Of course, I don't let anyone eat or drink or smoke in my Corvettes, but that's because they are mine.

During the reveal and my time with the car on Monday at Cobo, none of the internal compartments (glove box, center console, cup holder, ash tray) were opened and no one was allowed to get in the cars (just trying to minimize wear and tear as these at that point were the only two show cars). The only way to get something done was to have one of the security personnel do it (open the door, open the hood, open the hatch). In the excitement of the event, I certainly didn't have the presence of mind to have any of them opened so I don't have any pictures of them opened. Hopefully at a subsequent show someone will ask the question. If not, there's always April when I'll get a chance at the Bash.
