"The short answer? Oh, yes.
There’s more than a hint of Ferrari 599 in the C7’s stance and demeanor, but that’s not a bad thing."
They say seeing is believeing with this car.
I've yet to see it .

Not really sure what to make of the article written by someone who has a name derived from cattle! Seriously, they mention is looks like a Ferrari which really means what anyway, otherwise the article has alot of negative tone! The overbearing lines and the rear are mentioned negatively, not sure why you posted this Alan.

I didnt get that from it. He says when you see it, do you want it? "Oh Yes." To me thats a good thing. He has stated the obvious also. That some people arent sure about certain things. Which reflects what we are all reading here. But the overall impression im getting from the article is that GM has hit a home run with this car. Am I wrong?

You're right he did say "oh yes" to wanting it but the tone of the article to me seemed very wishy washy! Is it fair to say that "stating the obvious" is not necessarily a positive spin when the obvious is deemed negative? In all fairness I like all of us should want to make up my own mind, some of these guys who have an opinion like us shouldn't be given too much credit one way or the other IMHO~!

Not that bad of an article, but the reference to the 599 is not accurate in my opinion. I agree with the previous statement that it has mor of teh F12 look then the 599.
You be the judge.
Ferrari 599 GTB
New C7
Ferrari F12
No comment on the taillights.

You keep referring to the author alan, I appreciate your glass half full approach. He mentions how his designer friends are not enamored with the plethora of lines and creases and how the taillights don't work although he himself is not sentimental about them. GENERALLY SPEAKING, the article is not a total win IMO, even though the author likes it he defers to his pals and they exude negativity. At the end who cares what they think right?
