Default Attention Detailing Supply Vendors

Detailing equipment vendors: please, please invent some special tools to make cleaning all these vents quick and easy. I'll buy the whole set.

That's just what I was thinking, except I'm hoping someone will come up with something specifically for the C7. For example, something like the blinds cleaner shaped to fit the vents exactly. Looks like there would need to be 4 of 5 different tools.

What they will do, is repackage these with a picture of a Corvette on it and sell them for about $40 each.

Those vents are not that big of a deal. Just use a detailing brush while washing.

The tailpipes are also going to be a tad bit time consuming to clean.

For people who love to detail their cars the C7 will bring them great joy and lots of hours of work.

Exactly, I own my own detailing shop and we have to deal with vents everyday. Not a big deal at all.

I hope GM includes 3M tape along with the sale of a C7. Maybe the vents will have a coating, kind of like a lamination. If not, better buy some tape. Wax will be extremely difficult to clean off of them. I can see C7's on the road with white blotches on the black plastic areas already.

You still use wax that leaves a white residue or is difficult to remove?

Check with WaxWeekly

What I use is formulated by a friend of mine. He is a chemist at a university in Cali. None of that over the counter junk. As for the general public, yes, they still use wax that leaves white residue. I see it quiet frequently.

As for the exterior plastics, I hope they don't start fading after a couple of months. Seen too much of that also. Otherwise, it will have to be treated after every wash.
