Is the infotainment system CUE?
I know that Cadillac uses the CUE system. Does the new C7 have CUE? I see they are already updating the CUE system.

No, it is the Chevrolet MyLink. I believe both systems are similar.

It's based on the CUE architecture as the foundation but as noted this implementation is "MyLink". Also worth noting is the fact that the user interface is specific to the Corvette.

I'm know very little about MyLink. Does anybody know if MyLink system does automatic system update / upgrades? Just curious.
I'm assuming the cars outfitted with MyLink have a satelitte antenna so (like most computer software developers) does Chevy allow service pack updates wirelessly as they become available?

There is no DVD slot. I inquired about that one some time ago. I would imagine that Nav updates would be a dealer software update. That said, it may well be that you can use your smartphone for navigation via the factory display. That of course remains to be seen but one of the key ideas behind this new display and infortainment system is better smart phone integration. If so, a Garmin app on your smartphone would do wonders for the factory infotainment setup!

Ahhh, but you should be able to play it if you rip that DVD to a USB stick or your smartphone. My guess is that you should be able to play mp3's at a minimum and video files *hopefully. If it will play video, it would certainly have a video in motion lock out.
Edit: I read up on my link and it does not appear to support video playback. I have that in my C6 on my aftermarket Nav but never use it so it's important to me. To others it might be as this car might be a bit harder to swap the head unit.
Here is a link to Mylink. It looks to pretty good compared to traditional factory head units.

And then there is me. I just ordered my new cell phone from Verizon today, I specified a Rotary Dial. ... A few months ago I got a new Equinox. they dont call the radio a radio anymore. Its now a 21 button Infotainment system. Its been a real struggle for me to learn that system ...
