Default Will the Stingray get Siri's eyes free mode?

Siri is coming to certain low end chevy models with the eyes free mode through MyLink. Is it safe to assume the vette will get this functionality? It really does help not having to take your eyes off the road but still being able to accomplish other tasks when necessary, I cant find concrete info on this. Thank you all

My 2013 3500 Duarmax factory radio works with my brand new new BlackBerry Z10 voice command...so I can't see why the C7 would not work with that or Siri. I'm not sure as I've never tried Siri with the truck, but I'd think it would work as well.

Here's a link below that will help, including the videos in that page. The C7 will have Siri. It will allow the search for verbal response info, and provide you the answer to your factual response inquiries, such as "what is tomorrow's weather going to be?" Siri will be able to respond, "tomorrow will have a high temperature of 64 degrees, a low of 48 degrees." Siri will not, however, display web pages in your car, for that would require the driver to take his/. Her eyes off the road and read the screen.

Why the hell does GM do dumb stuff, they are already part of the future, that that is Mirrorlink.... which is universal, and open standard for any smartphone.

(mirror link allows you to display your phone's apps on the Car's stereo, meaning you can use google maps, your phones music, voice commands, etc. etc. via the car stereo, using it's touch screen, speakers, microphone, and hands free controls)

I hope Google Voice will work, it's better than Siri.

Default google voice

My understanding is that it won't work, just Siri. Hopefully I am mis-informed

This assumes Siri actually works well.

Siri works in the current C6 with Bluetooth. Have the phone paired and from the lock screen hold down the round home button on your iPhone. It'll hesitate a second but the radio will mute and you'll hear a beep. Start talking and Siri will work just fine. When your done, hit the button to end your call. This is on 2011+.

I don't see why the c7 would be any different, it's a great feature.
