Melting Slicks
I am a Coupe person. I have had 28 Corvettes and 27 were Coupes. On that one convertible, when I was driving home from the dealership I had a bad feeling about the convertible. I only kept it 4 or 5 months. But, thats just me. Funny thing that when my Corvette friends and I went on a trip, the convertible people ran out of space several times and my Coupe usually carried a lot of their stuff back home. Coupe is my choice ...

Coupe owner here as well......BUT, that Crystal Red vert is an eye popper for sure!
There will be a lot of deposits made for preorders on the convertible to Mike Furman when it is shown next month at the Geneva Car Show......and then goes into production. Soooo, Mike, get your order book out and ready, as the vert people will be coming out of the woodwork!
Congrats, Steve and Lyn

Mike,
Like many here, I would jump at the C7, but find myself "conflicted".
1. My 2012 2LT auto still looks, drives, and even smells "new".
2. My 0% APR GM Ally loan means my current payment is lowwwwww
3. I am nervous about the first year of any radically new design
I do figure that by the time the 2015 rolls around, some of these things will change and then...
I am sure I will be biting my nails until then...

Mr. Foreman, what do you have to lose, as he is right around the corner from you and Criswell.
I must say, one of the more unusual Avatars I have seen. Looks like I felt after my Dentist appointment last week.
Not sure you want this one moved up to the top of the C.F. batting order.

Nice shots, Mike. Appears to be some missing pieces in those slots on the rear end. Wonder if the Corvette logo emblem on the rear end will be that large on the production vehicles.
Michigan also has 4 year tags like we do in Oregon. Registration in Oregon is for 4 years, at a total cost of only $192.00 ($48.00/year)when you buy a new car. No sales tax. Also, in Oregon, when you buy a new car, the 4 year tagged license plates are installed on the car before you drive off in your new car. Thankfully, they let the owner deal with the front license plate install. To re-register after 4 years, Oregon sells you 2 year tags thereafter, for a total cost of $96.00.
