Default Confirmation from GM on C7 accident

I just got this info from the media guys at Chevrolet...

monte.doran@chevrolet.com

We can confirm that during routine testing, a Stingray was involved in a one-car accident.

During evaluation, the driver caught the inside tire caught the edge of the pavement during a tight corner, leading to the accident. Thankfully, no one was hurt, the car received only minor damage, and no citations were issued.

Best,

Monte

I just read that on another site.. Thats one thing about these cars, if you catch a wheel on uneven or gouged pavement it will pull to that side really fast.

How can that be an "official" statement from Chevy Communications with grammar that poor?

"...the driver caught the inside tire caught..."

Seriously?

There's no excuse for someone in communications failing to proofread.

You've never made a mistake in an email you have sent? I know I have, even after I have proofread it and spell checked it.

Yes. It's called freedom of speech. Don't like it? Move to Cuba.

That's not the point. The point is, we all make mistakes (communication people included).

Damn those Jalopink scoopers! Looks like they caught the news caught the same time as here!

Seeing the picture, I could only deduce that there was an incident, or parking was short and the driver had to improvise.

*Just for the record, I'm having fun. I couldn't care less about the grammar*
