Default C&D discovers the boost gauge on C7 vert.

I believe we have seen this before, but for those who haven't. Check the link. Only thing I notice was that the ZR1 boost gauge read up to 15psi vs 12 on this one?

That is certainly new news! Maybe the next performance model won't actually be a 427, but a supercharged LT1!? And if there is a ZR1 equivalent, maybe it'll just come with a bigger supercharger and forged internals. kind of like the LSA and the LS9.

Well we have all been talking about it, I wonder when we will here more now that we have seem what appears to indicate a possible FI car. I will admit, I expected and it may still be the case that the first high performance model would be a NA car.

Yeah, because that supercharger PSI gauge represents a turbo. Right.

Keep trying.

I agree. A boost gauge usually indicates a turbo. I have been wrong so much lately that it keeps my enemies in grins...

Funny...my blown Grand Prix had a factory boost gauge...

Anyway, this is certainly good news that GM is already considering a higher-performing variant of the C7.

The supercharger rotor symbol is sitting right there in the boost gauge.

Wrong...it is old news...see lower right gauge, just above steering wheel. The engine pic is another old news item.

I guess you missed it back in January...

Thats so ignorant to say...

ZR1
CTS-V
Ford GT
Ford Lightning
Ford Cobra
GTP

Just a handfull of supercharged cars...with boost gauges lol

Also, the icon is clearly a twin screw supercharger, not a turbo, nor two turbos.

I agree

We have had conversations about the boost gauge before with pictures posted............ but I am not seeing it in this picture

I see fuel gauge, speedo, tach display, and what looks like temp readouts, but not a boost gauge

Am I blind ?

Edit: never mind I see it peeking out at the bottom

Look about dead center of the photo, right under the "oil pressure" gauge. There's a graphic of the supercharger rotors with the word "PSI" next to it.

Given the gauge artwork is of a roots style supercharger.... I have a sad face now.

I wanted a Turbo or a centrafugal /procharger setup.

You will never see a centri setup in a modern car. Ever.
