Nice, much better images then the official video I watched, thank you for sharing this with us.
REALLY looking forward to my black C7 vert with the saddle color interior with an estimated ETA of April, 2014.

If corvette7 becomes anything like Camaro5 I'll be sure to never go there.

I could not tell from the close ups so hopefully one of you that have actually seen the car can answer this. Concerning the tail light assemblies, are the inboard clear portions for the back up lights and are the outboard clear sections for the turn signals? If so, will the turn signals have amber or red bulbs/LED's?

I agree!
I never noticed this before until my first C6.
I brought my 2006 Vette in for some accessory additions a few weeks after delivery and the Chevy mechanic who was a Vette fan pointed this out, and 'corrected' what the PDI guy had neglected to do.
He even lined up the wheel locks so that all four wheels were symmetrical. My 2008, and 2010 Vettes had the same haphazard placement of caps and locks until I pointed this out and they corrected it. It may seem picky, but it shows that someone is being very careful about the way their Vette looks.

I wonder how many people test that 50 mph while driving just to see it. From the looks of it the top can still catch wind under it while driving.

I believe the article said 50 kilometers = 31 mph

Did anyone see the Star Trek movie a few years ago, when a young James Kirk took a "very old" C2 vert out for a joyride and popped the top at a very fast speed and just blew the top right off!
For my future C7 vert I will always remember that movie and stop the car before I attempt to raise, or, lower the roof no matter what the manual states!
