Hey guys,

The more I compare the new corvette interior to other cars the more I like it. It seem to have the right accent of colors, not over down with buttons, flows well with the dash and is stylish to the point of excitement.
Plus, as an added bonus, I absolutely love the hidden compartment behind the digital screen. (that could be my age coming out as the really doesn't add anything to design)

One of the slides from the Bash compared the general attractiveness (badges removed/covered) of the 911<R8<GTR<C7. While I like the result, you have to wonder about any sample that ranks the GTR's interior as high as 2nd.

I would agree, the 911 and the gtr are both very average, basic and lame in my opinion. Especially for such expensive cars.

I do like the r8's interior but not even close to as much as the c7.

True, the stingray's interior is very appealing to me too. I hope the ergonomics, sight lines, and switchgear also meet our expectations.

The C7s interior is better than previous Vettes, yes. However, lets not go overboard. I would be very surprised if the actually material quality will be enough to outclass the 911 or R8 interior quality. Comparable to 911 and R8, absolutely...but I would not say better. I actually prefer the CTS interior layout more than the C7s.

IMO the layout of the interior is very nice, the materials remain to be seen. I guess that can be said for every aspect of the car at this point except for the body.

Looks like Chevy got lazy and rehashed the C 4 interior. Was great in 1990, should have left it there.

I just really hate the Stingray shape. The C7 is called the Stingray, leave it at that and quit trying to be cute with the themes GM. It really is cheesy like the fake carbon fiber pieces in the interior.

the Stingray's interior looks nothing like the interior of my 94.. other than how both cars have two seats, dual cockpit designs, a shifter, steering wheel, and gauges...??

I find the C7 interior as amateurish as the exterior. My biggest gripe, specifically, is the panel of color that stretches across the passenger dash and ends abruptly at the enormous driver pod in an extremely jarring and inelegant manner. It's just bad, bad design and shows the limits of GM's ability.

Nobody here really cares what trolls like or dislike. You don't like the C7? Then don't buy one. The overwhelming majority of us here really like the C7 and feel that GM has done a fine job while providing a great product at this price point.
