Default 2014 msrp 2015 msrp

If the 2014 C7 sells very well, is there any chance that they will raise the MSRP for the 2015 model. I know alot of people will wait for the 2015's does any one remember if they have done that in the past,
Thanks

I've had 6 Corvettes starting in 1993, and the 2013 C6 is about $20,000 more than my first. And, comparing the prices on all my cars, the price has increased roughly $1,000 per year.

IMHO - there will likely be 2 price increase - one half way thru the 2014 production and a second for the 2015 model year

Typically 2 increases each year, new model intro or soon after, and around Dec.

I agree with the above posts, but they will not be significant enough to cause someone to not buy one who would have. Not like the Z06 that went up $5,000 the second year.

Thank you
so if someone pays $1,000 over MSRP now, it will probably be the same price as MSRP for a 2015

Doubt it. Prices rarely, if ever, go up $1000 a year. The 2 increases usually are in the couple hundred dollars range, maybe $500 for a year, if that. But that's the past history, the future could be different.

The first three years of the C6 were modest increases. '05-'06 was $355, '06-'07 was $395, but from '07 to '08 was $1,000. then came the '09 and it was $2,900 over the '08. The 2010 jumped up another $1,985. Then it leveled off from the 2010 through the 2013 with very small increases on the base.

So I would not think that the 2015 will have much of an increase if they stay true to their history. Now that is not taking into consideration an introduction of a new model, say the next generation of a high performance model.

OK, I found my window sticker from my 1993 C4 coupe. The price was 34,595 + 550 for destination charge, which totals 35,145. The 2012/13 price was 49,600 + 975 for destination charge, which totals 50,575. The difference is 15,430. So, divide by 20 years, and you get an average increase of 771.50 per year. I said roughly $1,000 per year.

I was looking at a new 2008 Z06 and the MSRP was $77,790. 8 months later I purchased a new 2009 Z06 with the identical options, etc, and the MSRP was $80,015. There were two price increases during that period which totaled $2225. But my purchase price for the 09 was cheaper than what they were asking for the 08, 8 months prior. Not only did I get a 1 year newer Z06, I paid less for it than for a 08.
