Finally delivered; VIN 00173 A8 ZF1 Shark Gray
The car was delivered to the dealer @ 6am this morning; we were there to take delivery @ 2:30pm. Didn't pull out of the dealership until 5pm... took 2 hrs to get home.
Yvonne drove at first, with me following in her SRX. About halfway home, we stopped by my brothers... switched drivers; and I drove the rest of the way. Really pleased with the car, fit & finish.
Only had time to snap a few cell pics; at my brothers home with the setting sun:
This Shark Gray has a lot of different personalities... depending on the lighting. We absolutely loved it inside the dealerships showroom; and then once driven outside in the sunlight; fell in love with it all over again !
I haven't seen one bad color on any C7; it wears them all exceptionally well.

Had to get used to it downshifting - when I didn't expect it to; and sometimes it would downshift two gears when I only expected one. But the SOP experience was thrilling; a lot of torque felt. I'm imagining it's due to there being more of a chance an optimum gear ratio is always on tap - no matter what the circumstance is.
I imagine the A8 will be loved by road course racers.
I haven't done any straightline WOT yet; can't report on that.

Ordered mine (shark gray) today. Missed seeing a customer pull out with his new shark gray. I wanted to really look at the color up close and see if there is a bit of a brown tinge to it. Your pix almost show that tinge in it too, but can't tell from pix.
Saw a CG on the lot and definitely has the blue flake in it.
