Horizontal chrome strip in mouth of the front fascia: Should GM or we remove it?

Voted YES, but was a little tired and misunderstood the stated question.
I meant to be voting YES to make it black through carbon fiber or whatever other means.
Don't know enough to say whether to remove it or not. Stop this thread now and start over with a more meaningful set of questions:
1. Keep the chrome bar
2. Blacken or carbon fiber the chrome bar
3. Remove the bar in question completely if not structurally necessary
Current set of questions yields conclusions that aren't meaningful as the current NO vote could mean two or three different things.

I'm new here and try not to get involved in petty banter. That being said, your post is childish and uncalled for. GROW UP!!

at first, from some of the earlier pictures, I thought it was gloss black.. but it is definitely chrome, eh?
I'd really have to see the car in person to make a final decision... I have never been wild about chrome..

I think it looks good on Blue the way the car is however, some colors it will look best without the chrome strip. For Example, I feel like the Black car will look best with ZERO chrome

The Angelina pics were in response to the toothless old man pics.
But, great logic for not getting involved with petty banter..... by adding your petty banter.
It's nice to see the Welburn's goal of bringing 12 year olds to Corvette after the C7 unveiling, and to the forum, is working.
Welcome to the forum.
Bit of advice, read an entire thread before you post and make a fool of yourself.

Good point. With some colors the chrome actually looks good, on others not so much.

I read the entire thread jackhole! You were the one that started with the insults. I love simple fixes - added to ignore list.

"don't insult people, jackhole!"
Classic 12 year old logic. Welburn's plan is working.
Assad-
Getting back on topic, will you take a Sharpie and black out the chrome strip on your Corvette poster on your wall or will you leave it intact?
I like the all black fascia opening on my C6 ZO6 in my garage and I will remove the chrome strip the C7 ZO6 I actually buy.

Yes, he is - as proven time and again in multiple threads. Just watch him prove me right by his response to this......
Meanwhile, he has started yet another poll critical of a feature of the C7 - and is coming out on the losing end again!
Just another wreck of a thread by 4.27 C5
