Any advice on picking color?

I had a much easier time naming my kid.
I'm no help on this subject other than to say they all look awesome in their own respect. The one color I would personally avoid is Silver. Silver is the color for cars that are made for neglect.

Thanks for all your input! This forum is awesome! I had a yellow c5 Z06 Lingenfelter but sold it a couple of years back. I'm leaning towards torch red with the adrenaline red interior. I wish I could see one in person however I have a deposit down on one and want to get my order in ASAP! Decisions..Decisions

I'd have a horribly hard time... my first Corvette was yellow and the C7 looks amazing in yellow. So I'd say:
1. Yellow, black interior, yellow calipers, painted wheels (would swap out).
2. White, Adrenaline Red interior, red calipers
3. Cyber Grey, Kalahari interior, yellow calipers
4. Cyber Grey, Adrenaline Red interior, red calipers

The C7 seems to look best in exotic colors that I have so far seen only in photoshops.
There are going to be some repainted C7s out there that look absolutely stunning in variations of orange, green, and blue that GM does not offer.
If I had to buy a C7 right now, I would probably pick Cyber Gray or Black, since I already have a blue vette. If I didn't have a blue vette already, I would get Laguna Blue with the brownstone interior. May do that one day anyway!

I think that this is a great summary. One other thing to consider is will you get tired of the color after a while. I would also look at other sport cars to get an idea. This is my 4th. I am going with CG.
Look at me, I'm fast: Torch Red or Velocity Yellow
Look at me, I'm BAD: Black, Cyber Gray, or Night Race Blue
Look at me, I'm Classy: Lime Rock Green, Crystal Red
Don't look at me: Arctic White, Blade Silver
Some other things to consider,
Does your buddy have the same color? You don't want to look like the bobsy twins.
How often do you like to polish your car? Always = Black, Never = White, Silver
What color interior do you like? Many are picking the interior first, then finding the best color to go with it.
Do you like the contrasting vents on the C7? If you like them get a bright color, if not go dark.
What do you have now? It's always nice to get a new color on your new car. Nothing worse than pulling up to a friends house, and nobody even notices your car is different.
What wheels do you like? Some colors like chrome wheels, some do not. Use the GM site to mix and match wheels and colors.
For me it's not too tough, I always get bright red.

This is the combo I'm most leaning towards as well, with red calipers. I'm just concerned the seats might be too much red. I'd prefer them if they were black, with only the center section of the seat and back support being red.

I think Blade Silver is a nice compromise, and it has the benefit that you can drive it year-round without constant detailing. Torch Red is a close second, but does need more frequent cleaning and polishing.

I live in Michigan, so I see no sense in ordering a Corvette now, receiving it maybe in October or November only to store it until next spring. Hopefully by spring '14, some dealer within 150 miles will have a few in stock with options I'd like and I'd just pick out the best color combo and drive off. Like others, I cannot decide on a color if I'd order it.

the absolute best way is to go see colors in both dayliht and at night. since that really isnt an option, it tough. I went bonkers trying to decide on color on my 427, and only made up my mind the day I walked onto the lot that had every color in one place for me to see. All I knew was I didnt want red, and I did want orange. since orange wasnt available anymore it was out. I didnt want black or white. that left me with yellow, cg and nrb. I woud have been happy with any of the three, but the nrb just talked to me that particular dy. some days I want yellow. it will make you nuts if you let it.
Hereis what I would do today. pick one and order it. since it isnt going to get built anytime soon, see if you still like it in two weeks, if not change it.

I can't seem to stick to a body color? I've gone from torch red to cyber gray to laguna blue and back to torch red. I had a much easier time choosing the names of my kids. So the question is how or what criteria are you using to pick out body color? Am I the only one with this dilemma?
There are good reasons for all the colors. As said by another on here. Color will decide the character of the car. It just needs to match what you like.
I know its tough, but fun at the same time. Good luck.
