I'd like to know which highway this was taken on...if they were headed toward Michigan, I'll take a ride over to the test track with my camera and park in front of the gate.

These just could be a load going for a drive to see if there will be any transportation issues. Prior to this they were shipping the show cars inside semi trailors. I wonder if these cars also might be factory pilots heading for Detroit for a build inspection after all this is May already.

It's GM trying to make all of us old fart typical Corvette customers feel like a kid again like back in the 50's when all through September the roads through town were full of car carriers with covered vehicles heading to dealers ahead of the big reveal date for the new models. No internet to break the secrecy of where this years chrome was applied or how many headlights the cars had.

Neat... my guess is GM will be transporting the cars with covers now. Many luxury brands do this or something similar. Jaguars are shipped with a special spray on protective film that takes a special chemical to wash it off.
