Is it me or are base wheels better looking that Z51 wheels?

I ve been trying to sell myself on the base wheels for over a week now in an attempt to avoid the Z51 package and magna-ride upgrades....it's just not working.

You're right. And then there's the fact that the Z51 package is such a relative bargain for what you get it would be hard to pass it up. That said, it's not hard to imagine you could actually buy a new C7 for $50k, and it would still be a lot of automobile for the money.

I like the Z51 wheels, but the non-Z51 looks OK in this picture. I ordered the Z51 option largely because of the wheels.
I really wish there was a machine-faced Z51 option.

I prefer the non-Z51s a little because they appear more simple and functional, and less overtly styled.

"In honor of jpee"
my first glance at both wheels, I thought of them as the "five-spoke" and "10-spoke" or "split-spoke" models. and yes, I like the five-spoke quite a bit. not so much the 10-spoke, but it's not ugly or bad looking.

Then what wheel is this?[/QUOTE]
Same wheel, same finish. The wheel sitting on the chair looks like it was shot with an iPhone or something like that (not great quality), the other photo is professionally shot.
You can tell the wheel on the chair is not machine finished because the barrel of the wheel is the same as the face, if it was the machine finished wheel, the face would look VERY different from the barrel.

Thanks for your replies. Can you point me to a photo of the standard machine-faced wheel?

I wish I had a photo of the machine finished wheel, hopefully someone has one and will post it.
