I have 3 magazines for my .45 in there, the membership badges and codes to my FOP gun range, and my UHF remote radio head unit in there. I find it quite useful!

I thought setting the valet mode locked it?

Page 4.1 Owner's manual:

The storage area cannot be
operated when Valet Mode,
if equipped, is enabled. See “Valet
Mode” under “Settings” in the
infotainment manual.
Keep the storage area closed when
not in use.

She gave me pictures, what can I say?

If it makes you feel better, I have about 1000 more questions...but I won't thread jack.

It's the principle of the thing. Open forum and all that stuff. Heck, you could have gone to the powder room or something and been gone for hours! I'd hate to see a guy hanging like that!

Pictures were nice, a little blurry but more than adequate!

Ditto, solves a storage problem that I had with my C5, and just one of the many wonders of the C7 that makes Porsche owners wonder why they can't have that.

I can relate! It did open one time as I pushed the start button. The engine didn't respond but the center screen lowered???
